Fosse Meadows Farm is aa place where the chicken residents enjoy a leisurely life, and are raised slowly, with care. The chickens are completely unfettered, free to roam, and nurtured in small, close-knit flocks for a minimum 81 days. That is a threefold increase in time compared to the hastily raised, mass-produced supermarket chickens, and a luxurious two-week extension beyond organic poultry.
The owners of Fosse Meadows carefully rear three distinct strains of French breeds to reach their full maturity. As a result, these birds boast elongated legs, granting them the freedom to explore and forage across bountiful, wildflower-strewn pastures. Their nourishment comes from a cereal-based diet, locally sourced whenever possible, and devoid of any antibiotics, additives, or hormones - in essence, no nasties!
Fosse chicken is succulent and rich, with meat that tastes exactly as it should. Allowing a natural growth, their bones are infused with vital nutrients, contributing to a more robust and nutritionally potent dining experience.
