Home to Uncommonly Good Beer. Based in Melton Mowbray’s historic livestock market Round Corner make beer of unmistakable character, brewed with patience, finesse and no rough edges. Owners Combi & Colin have championed the highest standard of brewing excellence, achieved only by sourcing the finest ingredients and a deep love for creating the best beer.
After only two years of relentless hard work, Round Corner Brewery are receiving the recognition it deserves, with numerous gold, silver and bronze medals from some of the most prestigious awards going – The European Beer Challenge, International Brewing awards and The World Beer Awards.

Gun Metal
If you're looking for a showstopper, look no further than Gun Metal Black Lager.
Gunmetal, a sharp-tasting black lager, takes its name from the original color of the shed at Round Corner's home when they first moved in. This brew is a nod to where it all began and has quickly become a modern classic, earning a gold medal at the 2019 International Brewing Awards right from the start. It's sure to please your taste buds.
In 2019, Gunmetal was awarded a gold medal at the International Brewing Awards, often considered the Oscars of the global beer industry. Both Round Cornwer and Table & Kin believe it to be the finest lager in the world, but we'll leave the final judgment to you. The beer's appearance is striking, with a dark brown hue accented by deep garnet highlights and a creamy foam head.
The secret to Gunmetal's clean and refreshing taste lies in a slow fermentation process at 9°C using their signature lager yeast. The beer's aroma is a delightful blend of earthy and herbal notes from Noble hops and a subtle hint of lightly roasted and toasty biscuit malt. On the palate, Gunmetal is a deliciously smooth and balanced beer, free from any burnt malt bitterness typically associated with beers of its color.
