In 1837, the Marquis of Waterford and his friends, known for their rowdy behavior, had a lively day at the races. Afterwards, they arrived in the town of Melton and proceeded to paint it red, quite literally. This notorious event inspired the creation of a delicious West Coast IPA that is designed to satisfy your thirst and invigorate your spirit.
Hopping Spree is a beer with a deep golden color that smells fruity and hoppy with hints of stonefruit, citrus, pine, and tropical notes. The brewing process is pretty fancy, with different hop additions added at different stages to make it taste more interesting and easier to drink. The beer is then dry-hopped to give it a rounded out flavor. The malt flavor is there, but it's not as strong as the hop flavor, and the beer has a sweet kick from the 6.6% alcohol content to balance out the bitterness from the hops.
